Music moves me — and helping students move through their music journey is the most rewarding part of teaching. I’m a musician, artist, and dedicated teacher based in Portland, Oregon. For the past six years, I’ve guided students of all ages to discover and develop their unique musical voice.

I hold a dual degree in Songwriting and Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music. My foundations are in classical and jazz, but my heart is in contemporary music — pop, rock, indie, folk, R&B, and beyond. I’m also an active performer, writer, and producer of original music — both solo and in bands.

I meet each student where they are, let their interests lead, and support their goals with a balance of flexibility and structure. I draw from classical techniques and apply them to modern music — from singing with more freedom and learning favorite songs, to writing original music, or performance prep. When I’m not in the studio, I’m probably climbing, hiking with my husband and pups, tracking down unusual synths, or exploring Portland’s endless veg food spots!
