Hi, I’m Rebeka

Music moves me — and helping students move through their music journey is the most rewarding part of teaching. I’m a musician, artist, and dedicated teacher based in Portland, Oregon. For the past six years, I’ve helped students of all ages discover and develop their unique musical voice. During my time in Nashville, I ran my own studio and balanced supporting students as they grew into well-rounded musicians with managing schedules and billing.

I hold a dual degree in Songwriting and Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music. My foundations are in classical and jazz, but my heart is in contemporary music — pop, rock, indie, folk, R&B, and beyond. I’m also an active performer, writer, and producer of original music — both solo and in bands.

I meet each student where they are, let their interests lead, and support their goals with a balance of flexibility and structure. I draw from classical techniques and apply them to modern music — from singing with more freedom and learning favorite songs, to writing original music or preparing for performances. If you’re looking for a supportive space to grow musically and creatively, I’d love to work with you!

When I’m not in the studio, I’m probably climbing, hiking with my husband and pups, hunting for unusual synths, or exploring Portland’s vibrant veg food scene.

Hi, I’m Sean

Music drives me — and helping students build confidence and fluency in their musicianship is the best part of teaching. I’m a guitarist, bassist, songwriter, and music producer based in Portland, Oregon. I studied at Berklee College of Music, majoring in Songwriting and Music Production/Engineering, with guitar as my principal instrument. After over a decade in Nashville performing, recording, and producing, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned through teaching.

My lessons focus on you — your tastes, goals, and the music that inspires you. We explore technique, theory, ear training, and notation in ways that help you grow as a versatile player. Whether you’re learning your first chords, exploring jazz voicings, or writing your own music, I’ll meet you where you are and support your journey.

I recently relocated to SE and love being part of a vibrant, creative music community. I offer lessons for any skill level in guitar and bass, as well as beginner piano — all ages welcome.

When I’m not teaching or making music, I’m hiking scenic trails with my wife and pups, tinkering with guitar tones, or hunting vinyl gems in Portland’s record stores!
